About Us
The Policy and Outreach office works to ensure Congress and federal agencies understand the impact and value of WestEd’s work. Serving as a trusted nonpartisan resource to Capitol Hill, we educate and inform staffers regarding a range of policy and legislation. The office also shares frequent federal updates with WestEd staff and provides support navigating complex political situations while maintaining our nonpartisanship.
We offer a variety of accessible resources for WestEd staff to learn about federal budget, key legislation, and relevant congressional developments with implications for WestEd’s work on the Federal Policy Updates page.
